"Thank You!" everyone that attended my (early) Birthday celebration!
Note: Unfortunately, I had to scan the picture on a copier, so the quality isn't that great. I'm going to recommend that Shogun start emailing the birthday pictures too. You can click the picture for a larger (slightly better) version.

My BDay Celebration!
Well, I'll be another year older on June 1st. I'm turning *GASP* 28! Hard to believe it when I still "act" like I'm 21. But hey just because we grow old doesn't mean we have to grow up...at least not until you're married and have kids.
Since my Birthday falls on a Monday, I will be celebrating it on the Saturday before (May 30th) at Shogun in Temecula @ 7PM. I sent out an invite on Facebook but for those of you who don't use it, just leave a comment, and I'll see you there.

Making Someone's Day - Part 1
As I was riding through a housing tract on my way home, I rode past a few kids sitting at their lemonade stand on the sidewalk. I was kinda in a rush to get home so I could get ready for class but I decided to support our future generation. So I U-turned and made my way back to the stand. The kids got all excited and started jumping up and down. They were selling their lemonade for 50 cents but all that I had was one of my famous dollar shirts. (Yes, I keep pre-folded dollar shirts in my wallet to leave as tips). I handed one of the kids the folded bill and when he saw what it was said, "Woaaaaaaa!" and all the other kids crowded around to look at it. They gave me their last cup of lemonade and thanked me for the tip, since I let them keep the change. I told them not to spend all of their money and be sure to save some of it, to which they replied that they would.
I would like to think that I made their day, although as I started up my scooter and began to leave, I heard them bicker about which one of them would get to keep the dollar shirt.

Super Scooter Storage
As I was coming home from class, I realized that I hadn't had dinner yet so I made a stop at the grocery store. I started filling up my basket with 2 bags of salad, cucumbers, a green pepper, bananas, yogurt, and cottage cheese. As I approached the checkout line I remembered that I was riding my scooter and started to wonder whether or not it would all fit. I contemplated putting some of the larger items back, but then I decided to go with the always good advice of, "make it fit". Okay, I had to cheat and put the bananas on the floorboard, mainly because I still had my textbook and notepad in the under seat storage. But I was able to get all of my food home safe and sound and have a healthy dinner.
Although, I guess it's still not as impressive as some of the other things people have managed to carry on their scooters.
