My Fetish - LED Watches

Most of you know I have a watch fetish. I like the light up LED type timepieces. Ones that require you to think a little bit to tell the time.

This is my latest time piece. The Tokyoflash Rogue. Jealous Cristina?!

The time on the watch is 1:18 AM. See, now wasn't that easy?

SMSG = Saturday Morning Scooter Gang

In our effort to get the word out about how great scooters are, we've decided to create the "Saturday Morning Scooter Gang". Jonathan, my mom and I meet up and ride our scooters around Temecula to go get some breakfast at a cafe or coffee shop.

Today we ended up at the California Bagel Bakery.

Talk about really compact parking, 3 scooters in a spot.

Of course it never fails when you're out and about, people ask us about our scooters and we caught a few people checking them out while we were eating our breakfast outside.

A Day At The Beach

What a perfect weekend to go to the beach. Especially since our favorite coworker/friend/2nd mom, Margie Casey, had a camp site at the beach and invited us to come down on Saturday.

We did so much fun stuff I forgot to get pictures of it all.

We left early in the morning so we could make a whole day of it. Jonathan, Stephanie, Nanci and I all carpooled together. Once we arrived at Doheny Sate Beach we lounged at the camp site for a bit. Then we made our way over to the beach and spent some time getting plenty of sun. We actually ended up going back and forth between the camp site and the beach a lot (they were only about 500 feet apart). We also played some board and card games, ate lots of great BBQ food, played paddle ball, went night swimming in the ocean, hung out by the camp fire and even made S'Mores!

The girls mission for that day was to go kayaking and after quite an effort, they actually did it!

Jonathan and Ray hanging out at the camp site

A exciting game of Balderdash

We did plenty of walking to try and find the kayak rental place

The girls modeling their life jackets and oars

Fearless. They paddled out until they were mere specks on the horizon

Jonathan got banged up saving someone else's kayak from getting pulled in by the tide (You can read more about it here)

It was a full day of fun in the sun and we were all pretty tired by the time we had to go back. We got home around midnight and I was ready to pass out...actually, I did just that.

Prom Party 2008

Another exciting summer party. This year's theme: Prom/High School

So without further ado...a quick photo recap.

My younger siblings and I under the balloon arch (made by Jonathan).

Chris and Krystin Wyatt (Newlyweds!)

Rory and Kristi (Soon to be Newlyweds!)

Nick and Rosa (Newly Parents)

With the party hostess, also known as mom.

Jessica and her shiny, ruffly, 80's Madonna dress.

A couple of lovely ladies from my work and their "dates".

We made lockers for everyone to mark up and spread rumors on.

Spreading rumors.

Hit me!

Better guard those chips, Jonathan is a sneaky gambler!

Gettin' the dance party started.

Caught by surprise by a totally "random" girl I've never ever met before in my life. ;)

Two "random" girls...no big deal.

Not a big deal for Jonathan either.

Gettin'...how do you say??? Ahhh yesss..."Jiggy" With It!

My Cheesy Parents.

Heather and Oscar dressed to the nines.

Tatiana decided to play bartender.

Can you believe there was a time when people actually wore those colors...on purpose?!

Cazi asks, "Is this too formal?"

Nanci won Prom Princess. Biggest Mistake Ever! She became such a Diva after that.

End of the night. Someone thought it would be funny to let all the balloons go. Very funny guys.
