What I thought was just going to be a simple and small backyard BBQ with family and a few friends, turned out to be a full fledged birthday party, with balloons! Thinking it was a small affair, I only mentioned the Saturday BBQ to a few people, but it turns out those people called up my other friends and I ended up with around 10 people there. I feel so loved. *sniff sniff*
After a good amount of time snacking and making margaritas, we hopped in the 80 degree pool and threw around some of the pool toys. The coolest part about the pool is that we taught my mom's dog, Zoey, how to ride the boogie board. Now we just put it up to the edge of the pool and she'll hop on and go for a ride. I'm going to video it next time and put it on YouTube (that'll give the skateboarding dog a run for its money). After swimming around for a while we had some great steak and hot dogs, opened my presents, ate ice cream cupcakes, then relaxed in the spa and watched the Temecula valley sunset.
The reason for celebrating my bday early is because my jet-setting mom and stepdad will be in Greece during my actual birthday on the 1st of June. Butttt...since I'll be house sitting for them, I think we can make my real birthday just as fun. ;)

Wish we could have made it! Happy B-day Crazi!
Thanks, it's the thought that counts. ;) Heard you were in Phoenix, what were you doing out there?
Work, as usual. We have some collaborators out there, so I went out to "collaborate" (hehe).
