I know what you did last weekend.

Well I figured I should update my blog....AGAIN! Will this never end?

No pictures this time, because A.) I forgot to take pictures and B.) To protect myself from self-incrimination.

As for my activities for this past weekend, they involved the annual pilgrimage to Oktoberfest at the Alpine Village in Torrance. Word must have gotten out about Oktoberfest because it was more packed than I had ever seen it. On top of the crowds they had plenty of beer, oompa-loompa music, lederhosen, I even saw a member from the band play a trombone with his foot. Incredible! And that was just Friday night.

Saturday night I managed to crash my fellow coworkers annual Vail Lake camping trip. Of course their version of camping is quite civilized and involves 40 foot motor homes. But we still managed to find ourselves outside around a campfire enjoying drinks, jokes and conversation. I got to check out Jonathan's dads new camper and it is quite nice, can you say roadtrip?

Finally, as for my week thus far, it has been very hectic with all of the fires burning up Southern California. I can't believe it's only Tuesday, it feels like it should be Friday already. But as long as Temecula doesn't burn down, I think I'll make it through this week into another fun filled weekend.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Searer

I was the best man at Nathan and Sandra's wedding this past weekend. Although the weekend was super busy and felt like we did a weeks worth of work in 2 days (compared to my normal sleep until 11AM weekends), it all paid off because the wedding went smoothly.

Since I was a member of the wedding party I didn't end up taking any pictures, but here's one I received in my email that I think is pretty awesome. We got all of the Linfield High School alumni at the wedding together for a picture.

And to the newlyweds, congratulations again and have a safe and lovey dovey honeymoon in Europe!

Nate's Bachelor Party

We had Nate's bachelor party this weekend, something small, so we only got Nate 10 strippers instead of 15. Kidding Sandra...Nate didn't have 10 strippers...3 were for us!

Actually, it was pretty low key, spent the night out in Hollywood and went to Universal Studios' Halloween Haunt. Even though it wasn't our typical craziness to which we are accustomed, I'm actually glad no one went overboard. It makes for a much easier recovery the following week. Which of course is the week of Nate's wedding.

Here's a few pics from yesterday/last night.

After the BBQ we rounded everyone up for a quick discussion on quantum physics and Steve's 8,000 piece puzzle.

Checked into our hotel room/crash pad.

Our feat of modern engineering, the Tower of Plates.

We made sure to wear proper eye protection on the Terminator 2 3D Ride.

The backup Apollo 13 crew.

No trip to Hollywood is complete without a walk through a dark, graffiti laden tunnel.

We walked past this movie poster. A sign (literally).

Back at the room we had Nate open his final gifts (from his soon to be mother in law no less).

Received my new lappy

I actually received my laptop a couple weeks early but never posted about it.

The Dell XPS M1330 is a sweet ultraportable machine, with plenty of performance packed in. In fact, I'm actually blogging from it right now.

Here are a few unboxing pics I took upon its arrival.
